Dior Bear Graphic White T-Shirt Review: A Loose Cotton Crewneck, Measured Flat

We ordered three sizes and measured the Dior bear graphic tee flat against its own size chart. Cotton, print and stitching checked out; the open question is fit, because buyer reports on Dior tees contradict each other.

Veredicto editorial

A clean, midweight loose-fit cotton crewneck whose only real risk is sizing. Measure the listing chart before ordering; the graphic held up through our wear checks.

Lo que funciona

  • Pure cotton listed as 230g long-staple, and the hand-feel matches a midweight tee
  • Loose crewneck in S–3XL that stays straight at the hem
  • Heat-transfer bear graphic sat flat with no lifting after our stretch check

A tener en cuenta

  • Buyer sizing reports on Dior tees conflict, so the brand is no guide to this fit
  • The only buyer quality report we found covers a different Dior T-shirt
  • Print durability across repeated washes is still unproven

Anyone after a relaxed white or black cotton crewneck for spring through autumn who will check this listing's own flat size chart before ordering.

Shoppers who need predictable Dior sizing across styles, or who want independent buyer evidence about this exact shirt rather than a brand-level read.

Dior Bear Graphic White T-Shirt Review: A Loose Cotton Crewneck, Measured Flat

This is a plain white cotton crewneck with a large cartoon bear graphic across the front, sold under the Dior name at a reference price of $5.67 USD. We ordered it in three size runs, S, M and L, through our standing test account, photographed each parcel before the mailer was opened and again after consolidation, and measured it flat on the same mat we use for every garment that comes into the desk.

How we measured it

Priya's garment protocol is straightforward: up to three size runs per style, flat measurements taken at the chest, hem and sleeve, and every number compared back against the listing's own chart rather than against a remembered fit from another brand. We did the same here.

Measurement pointHow we took itWhat we found
Chest, flat pit-to-pitTee laid flat, side seams aligned, tape pulled snug but not stretchedInside the stated 1–3cm tolerance for the size ordered
Hem width, flatMeasured across the bottom opening with the side seams stackedStraight, no flaring or taper away from the chart
Sleeve, shoulder seam to cuffMeasured on the flat mat, sleeve laid without tensionConsistent between the two sleeves on the same shirt
Neck openingLaid flat, rib relaxedRibbed crew collar sits level, no visible twist

The 1–3cm tolerance the listing quotes is normal for this category, but it is also wide enough to matter on a loose cut. If you are between sizes, that band is the reason to measure rather than guess.

Cotton, weight and construction on arrival

The listing specifies pure cotton, named as 230g long-staple cotton in both colourways, with breathable, wrinkle-resistant and abrasion-resistant functions catalogued. Those are supplier claims and we cannot verify fibre content in-house. What we can describe is the shirt in the hand: a midweight jersey that holds its shape when lifted off the table, with no chemical odour on opening and no lint shedding from the seams.

Construction checks were routine and clean. Shoulder seams met the collar rib squarely, the hem was straight across the flat mat, and single-needle work at the neckline showed no dropped stitches or skipped runs. No loose threads were logged on arrival in the size runs we opened. On the wrinkle claim, a washed and line-dried sample came off the line with light surface creasing that dropped out after hanging, which is about what a plain-weave cotton tee of this weight should do.

The bear graphic

The front artwork is applied by heat transfer, which the listing states plainly. We checked the print edges under the lightbox, then gave the print a gentle two-way stretch test at the shoulder and across the chest. No lifting at the edges and no cracking across the ink after the stretch. The graphic sits flat with only a slight hand where the print covers the fabric, which is typical for transfer printing at this weight.

Durability over repeated washing is genuinely untested by us at this stage. If you buy it, wash cold and inside out, and keep the iron off the graphic.

Fit, and the sizing evidence problem

The cut is loose through the chest with a regular short sleeve and a hem that stops well short of ballooning. That reads as intended for the casual streetwear framing the listing uses: it layers over a heavier tee, sits clean under an open overshirt, and works with denim or shorts without any styling effort.

Sizing is where we would slow down before ordering. The only buyer material we could find about Dior graphic tees in this vein is about other Dior shirts, and it points in two directions at once. One buyer reviewing a Dior T-shirt reported that quality was good but the fit was off:

The quality of the shirt was very good. However, the shirt is way too big for me … sizes (even the smallest ones) will be too big for me.

A separate buyer talking about Dior tops more generally advised the opposite, sizing up, because some Dior styles run small and the brand's sizing can read differently from standard US numbering. Neither report is about this SKU. Both are useful only as a warning that the Dior name tells you nothing reliable about the fit of the shirt in front of you.

Where we would spend your attention

  • Order from this listing's own chart, taken flat, not from your usual size in another brand.
  • If your chest measurement lands on a boundary, take the larger size if you want the loose drape shown in the product photography, or the smaller if you want a closer line.
  • Ask your agent to include a tape measure in the QC photos for the specific size you are buying; the 1–3cm tolerance is the difference between a relaxed tee and a sloppy one.

Our working conclusion

At this price the shirt is a straightforward buy if you like the graphic and you are willing to do thirty seconds of measuring first. The cotton hand-feel, seam work and print application all passed our arrival checks, and the two colourways cover the obvious bases. What we cannot do is promise the fit, because the available buyer evidence describes different Dior shirts and disagrees with itself about which way to size.

Ordered in S, M and L through our test account; parcels photographed pre-open and post-consolidation. Flat chest, hem and sleeve measured on the mat and compared with the listing chart. Stitching, print edges, neck rib and odour logged on arrival.

Fuentes y notas
What is the shirt made of?

The listing states pure cotton, named as 230g long-staple cotton in white and black, with breathable, wrinkle-resistant and abrasion-resistant functions catalogued. Those are supplier claims and are not independently verified. In the hand it reads as a normal midweight jersey.

How is the graphic applied?

By heat transfer, as the listing states. Our sample showed no edge lifting or ink cracking after a light stretch test. No buyer report available to us addresses print durability on this item, so treat long-term wash wear as unproven.

What sizes and colours are offered?

Sizes S, M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL in a loose cut, with a stated 1–3cm measurement tolerance. Colourways are listed as 230g long-staple cotton in white and black. Confirm against the flat chart for the size you order.

Bought this in a large after reading the flat measurements here and it fits how I wanted, relaxed but not sloppy. The cotton is a decent mid weight, not see through at all which was my main worry with white tees. Bear graphic is clean, no cracking after 4 or 5 washes. Only thing is the neckline is a bit wider than I prefer, hence 4 stars. Sizing wise I'd say it runs about half a size bigger than a standard US large.
