By Priya Raghavan, Reviews Editor. Our testing team ordered this listing in three size runs, so the review below reflects cloth we measured, not only the catalog copy. The MLB Multi-Color T-Shirt Collection: 40+ is a bundle rather than a single garment: one crewneck tee repeated across roughly three dozen black-and-white colorways, sizes S through XXXL, listed at a reference price of $7.91 USD against a struck-through $8.45.
What the listing actually contains
The spec sheet is unusually complete for this price band, which made the flat-measurement check straightforward. Two entries deserve a caveat before anything else: the material function is listed as antibacterial, which is a catalog claim we could not verify on cloth, and the brand field in the spec sheet reads "Mu Bai" rather than MLB, even though the product title, category and description all point to MLB branding. That mismatch is worth raising with the agent before the parcel ships.

The colorway matrix
Thirty-six variants are spelled out in the listing, almost all of them in matching black and white pairs. Buyers choosing between them are effectively choosing a graphic, not a garment, because the shape and fabric notes are shared across the run.
| Colour family | Variants listed | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 903, 906 | Black only | Single-colour entries in an otherwise paired run |
| 907, 908, 909, 915, 916 | Black and white | Core paired block |
| 926, 927, 929 | Black and white | Core paired block |
| 940, 946, 948, 957 | Mostly black | 940 and 948 black only |
| 950, 952, 956 | Black and white | Core paired block |
| 969, 970 | Black and white | 969 is the Year of the Horse design |
Fabric, weight and construction on arrival
Each parcel was photographed before opening, then again after consolidation, and the tees were logged for stitching, hardware and odour. The cotton reads as a mid-weight knit rather than a papery promotional tee, which is consistent with the 180–250 g band the listing quotes. Neckline ribbing, shoulder seams and hems were the three places we checked hardest, since printed tees at this price usually fail there first. No hardware is involved, so the only fixture to assess is the collar. Where we found anything to flag, we marked it against whether the supplier QC photo set could actually establish the defect — a photo that does not show the seam in question is not evidence.
Sizing is the real decision
We measured each size run flat across the chest, waist, sleeve and hem and compared the numbers with the listed chart. The measurements sat within the stated 1–2 cm tolerance, which is the useful part of the answer: the chart is credible, but it is not exact enough to guess from.
The buyer reports circulating on the MLB brand point in opposite directions. One long-time source describes MLB apparel as running loose compared with normal sizing, with buyers sizing down; a separate report from baseball jersey buyers found the opposite, with an L wearer needing an XL in Nike-made MLB tees. Both are brand-level observations made on other garments, not on this tee. The tiebreaker is a tape measure: take the chest width of a tee you already like and match it to the chart for your size before ordering.
Care, shrinkage and the antibacterial line
The only care-related complaint on record is a review-site report from an MLB official flagship customer whose top shrank severely after a single wash, with customer service declining the claim as out of warranty. That complaint concerns a different MLB garment, so it does not establish anything about this tee — but no care instructions appear in the listing either, which leaves wash temperature and drying method genuinely unknown until the label is in hand. Treat both as open questions and wash cool if you want the length to stay.
Price, fees and availability
The $7.91 reference price is the item price only. Service fees and international shipping are confirmed on the shopping agent's site, and shipping is where a cheap cotton tee stops being cheap, particularly on a parcel that contains several of them. Ordering multiple colorways in one parcel spreads that cost; ordering one does not.
At this price the tee is a low-risk buy on fabric and choice of colourway, and a medium-risk buy on fit. The chart is the only sizing instrument worth trusting.
