The order ticket

Every review starts with a ticket in the desk log. The ticket records the agent, the item link, the price paid in the seller's currency, the domestic shipping cost, the agent service fee, the warehouse arrival date, the QC photo set, the consolidation charge, the line used and the final delivered weight. Nothing gets scored without a closed ticket.

What we do, in order

  • Place the order as a normal customer through the agent's site or app, paying with desk funds.
  • Log the payment timestamp and check when the seller dispatches.
  • Watch the parcel land in the warehouse and request QC photos where the service offers them.
  • Compare the QC photo set against the listing: colour, hardware, labels, stitching, print placement and any visible damage.
  • Request consolidation or re-packaging, note the storage days used and any charge that follows.
  • Receive the parcel at the Rotterdam office, photograph it before opening, then weigh it on the desk scale.
  • Measure garments flat across chest, waist, sleeve and hem, and compare each number to the seller's size chart.
  • Time the delivery across four checkpoints: payment, seller dispatch, warehouse arrival and international handover.

How a score is set

We score on a five-point scale written as X / 5, where 5 / 5 is excellent and 1 / 5 is very poor. Hands-on scores in our reviews use the full 1 / 5 to 5 / 5 scale. The rubric weighs five things: accuracy of the listing against what arrived, condition on arrival, packaging and consolidation quality, the fee or rate against what was advertised, and timing against the published estimate.

Timing and rate data

Rate tables identify the date of the rate card and the orders used to check the quoted charges. Timing results are published as medians with the sample size stated, not as best-case examples.

Retests

Reordering is used to reassess an affected agent, line or haul service when new order evidence is needed. Changes to fees, warehouse rules or line availability are labelled as updates; a retest is identified only when a new order has been assessed.

Records and comparison limits

Warehouse and fee comparisons identify the storage days, parcel contents, route and quote date. Timing medians include the sample size. A completed ticket supports the particular order assessed and does not guarantee another buyer’s costs or delivery.
