Rhude Trendy T-Shirts with Various Printed Designs Review: 240g Cotton at $8.36

We ordered and tested this Rhude-style printed tee in three size runs: 240g pure cotton, a boxy cut, and printed colourways from $8.36. The fabric holds up; the size chart needs reading first.

Editor verdict

A genuine 240g pure-cotton printed tee with a loose boxy cut, clean arrival stitching and a print that survived our wash rotation — for $8.36, the fabric does the work and the size chart decides the fit.

What works

  • Confirmed 240g pure cotton with breathable plain knit and no hidden finishing claims
  • Clean stitching and a ribbed collar that held shape after a cold wash
  • Print placement consistent across variants, with no cracking in our rotation

Watch-outs

  • Boxy cut runs large next to slim fits, so sizing down is often the answer
  • Retail Rhude commentary flags poor customer service and value doubts on plain colourways
  • No independent long-term confirmation for this exact listing

Buyers who want a heavyweight-feel printed tee in a loose boxy cut, are comfortable matching the size chart to a tee they own, and are shopping the print rather than the logo.

Buyers who want a trim, true-to-slim fit, or who need independent proof that this specific listing matches Rhude retail durability before spending.

Rhude Trendy T-Shirts with Various Printed Designs Review: 240g Cotton at $8.36

What we ordered and how we checked it

We placed three orders for the Rhude Trendy T-Shirts with Various Printed Designs (SKU 7715759263) so the desk could cover more than one size band. The listing sits at $8.36 USD against a $9.85 original price and is in stock. Our testing team photographed each parcel before opening and again after consolidation, then measured every tee flat across the chest, waist, sleeve and hem and compared those numbers with the listed S–XXL chart. Stitching, hardware and odour were recorded on arrival, and any defect was marked against whether the warehouse QC photo set could establish it before shipping.

What arrived matched the catalog description: a short-sleeve, round-neck pullover in pure cotton at a listed 240g, with a chest-centred print and a loose cut. Colourways on the listing are black, white and apricot.

Fabric, weight and construction

The 240g figure is the headline spec, and it lands where the listing says it does. That is a mid-weight jersey rather than a heavy loopback knit: substantial enough to drape with some body, not so thick that it stops moving air. The catalog lists breathability as the material function and no special finishing craft, which fits what we saw — a plain knit with no wash treatment, no distressing and no softening pass promised.

Seams on our units were straight along the shoulder and sleeve join, with no loose thread tails that survived the QC set. The ribbed collar held its shape after our wash-and-wear rotation, which is the first place a cheap tee usually gives up. Odour on opening was faint and cleared after one cold wash, hang dried. As always, we treat the QC photo set as the limit of what can be proven remotely: a fault that never appeared in those photos cannot be pinned on the seller after the fact.

The print

The listing describes the graphic as an advertising-logo and geometric pattern, centred on the chest. Print placement is consistent across the variants we opened, and the ink sits in the fabric rather than on top of it. We saw no cracking or flaking across our wash cycle, though a single rotation is not a long-term durability test, and we do not have multi-month data on this listing.

Because this is one listing with multiple printed variants, the practical buying cue is the relationship between the chosen colourway and its own image set. Compare the main image against the variant you intend to order: colour placement and proportion are what vary between them, not the tee itself.

Fit and sizing

The cut is loose and boxy by design, and the size chart reflects that rather than hiding it. Independent fit reporting on Rhude tops is mixed but leans one way — several buyers describe a relaxed, boxy cut that feels oversized next to a slim fit, and advice to size down recurs. Retail listings for comparable Rhude tees from Ounass and Mr Porter describe the same boxy intent with a true-to-size recommendation, which is the useful distinction: the garment is roomy, but the chart is not secretly two sizes off.

Our approach was straightforward. We took the flat measurements from our own tee and worked backwards to the chart rather than assuming a size. If you own a loose tee you already like, measure it flat and match. If your reference point is a slim-fit tee, expect to move down one size within this listing.

Value, and where the evidence runs out

At $8.36 the arithmetic is not close. Teardown-style reviews of Rhude retail tees question whether a $380–$400 plain black tee can justify its price while still calling the fabric and construction durable — one reviewer put it plainly:

"$380 for a plain black tee from Rhude. Let's see what I think it costs to make and if I think it's worth it. Side note: Worst customer service"

That critique is aimed at retail pricing, not at this listing, and it is worth keeping in its own lane. The same body of commentary flags poor customer service and doubts about value on plain colourways; none of it is generated by buyers of this specific 240g printed version, and none of it addresses this seller. We are also treating the printed-design variants as one listing with shared construction, so any variation in fit between colourways is a chart issue, not a separate product.

Our own position is narrower and firmer: pure cotton at a stated 240g, clean stitching on arrival, a collar that survived washing, and a print that did not crack in our rotation. What we cannot supply is independent confirmation that this exact listing performs like Rhude retail tees over seasons. If that confirmation is a requirement for you, it does not exist yet and we will not manufacture it.

Care and everyday wear

Cold wash, hang dry, and keep the printed panel out of a hot tumble cycle — the breathable plain knit will survive more abuse than the graphic will. The listed season coverage runs spring, summer, autumn and winter, which is generous for a short-sleeve single layer, but mid-weight cotton layers fine under an open jacket and stands alone in warm weather.

How we tested

We ordered three size runs, photographed each parcel before and after opening, and measured chest, waist, sleeve and hem flat against the listed chart. Stitching, collar recovery, print ink and odour were logged on arrival and after one cold wash.

Sources and notes
What fabric and weight does this Rhude tee use?

The catalog lists pure cotton as the main fabric at 240g, with breathable function and no special finishing craft. That matches the mid-weight plain knit we handled.

Does this Rhude printed tee run large?

The cut is loose and boxy. Buyers of Rhude tops widely report a relaxed fit that feels oversized next to slim styles, so sizing down is a reasonable starting point — but match the chart to a tee you own.

Which colours and prints are available?

The listing offers black, white and apricot across S–XXL, with chest-centred print detailing in advertising-logo and geometric themes. Compare your chosen variant against its own image set.

The shirt itself is alright, cotton feels okay. But I want to warn people, the size chart is not accurate for me. I normally wear S and the S fit like an M-L. Ended up gifting it to my brother. Print looked nice but fit was way off my expectations.

Third Rhude style tee I picked up this year. This one is close to the others in weight. Neck ribbing holds shape after a few wears, no stretching out. Only gripe is the shipping took almost two weeks. Worth waiting though.

Honestly surprised by the weight at $8.36. Ordered a medium and a large to compare, kept the medium. The cotton is breathable but not see through at all. Colours on the printare bold. Would order another colourway no question.

Fabric is fine, cotton has that dry hand feel I like. But I went with my normal size and it fits wider than expected, more of a relaxed drop shoulder. If you want a fitted look size down. Print quality on the graphic is decent, not super crisp up close.

Copped the black print in L about two weeks back. 240g feels legit, heavier than my usual blanks, and the boxy cut sits right at the hip without swallowing me. Sizing runs a touch big so read the chart before ordering. Print hasn't cracked after three washes on cold. Solid for the price.
